What Happened?

Sorry folks, there is no Tie and Toga podcast for this week. Pastor Visscher is enjoying a well-deserved holiday. We hope to be back on the air next week.

Tie and Toga 18 April 2006

In today's podcast we have a look at some of the mail we've received in the last week. We discover one of Pastor Visscher's summer jobs from the past! We continue our discussion on hospitality, especially looking at the question of how do we treat visitors to our churches who used to be Canadian Reformed but are no longer. We also have some lively discussion on Canada's role in Afghanistan and some thoughts on Iraq and Iran.

Program Notes for April 11, 2006

In today's podcast (our first), we discuss the matter of hospitality in the Canadian Reformed Churches. Is this a problem? If so, how do we account for it? How do we fix it? What do the Scriptures say about it?

We also spend some time discussing recent issues in Canadian politics from a Christian perspective. We discuss the recent Throne Speech and the ethics of floor crossing.

If you've got comments or questions, you can leave them here on this blog, or you can e-mail us. Our addresses are mentioned in the podcast. We'd love to hear from you, so feel free to leave some feedback for us!
